South of Roosevelt, like most people – and especially musicians and artists, have their fare share of ups and downs. At one point a little awhile back we were forced to close up the studio for a bit while we found a new home that would lend itself to being comfortable when making beats. Once we got set back up the first release we put out was the Fresh Start EP on our label, Elevated Tracks.

The Fresh Start EP was our first go after about a year or so of some pretty low output for our own set standards. The EP included the highly-requested “Everybody Everybody” that was supported by heavyweights Mark Farina and Colette. Everybody Everybody was backed with “Freakiness Inside” – a deep funky jam nicely suited for those early sets. This guy came out at the end of 2014, but if you missed it the first time around make sure to check it out at one of the shops below.

Hola amigos, que pasa? We were talking the other day and decided since we revamped our site and pretty much started fresh we might as well get you up to speed on our latest tunes, eh? For those that may not have got the word – we started our own label, Elevated Tracks, and most of our latest EPs have been released via the label. The most current being the Jaction Ackson EP (say that three times fast!) featuring two funky cuts in Talk Fly and I Wanna Be. This guy dropped back in April, but still sounds fresh if ya ask us. Ha! Check it out on SoundCloud or click on over to your favorite shop below. Cheers!
